How are shutters measured for a precise fit?
Every window or door is measured individually during a home survey. We check width, drop and frame depth, along with any handles, hinges or uneven walls that may affect installation. This ensures the shutters sit square, open smoothly and between sqaure and open.
What areas do you cover?
We provide a full measuring and fitting service across South Yorkshire. Appointments are arranged at a convenient time, and installations are completed by our own team.
Do shutters work on uPVC doors and patio doors?
Yes. Perfect Fit Shutter Lite is designed specifically for uPVC windows and doors, clipping neatly into the frame without drilling into surrounding walls. Plantation and Urban shutters can also be installed on most standard door openings following a proper survey.
How long does installation take?
Most installations are completed within a few hours, depending on the number of windows and the shutter style chosen. Lead times vary by shutter type and typically range from 2 to 12 weeks. We work carefully, keep disruption minimal, and ensure everything is secure before leaving.
